Japanese company Honda Motors launched its Honda Civic models on July 2006 in India. We all know the some of the old models of Honda civic are still driven. Auto lovers believe Civic is one of the safest and durable cars and this quality is demanded in the car by Indian auto lovers. These hot selling cars have got all qualities to attract Indian mindset that lays emphasis on safety, power and styling. In 2007 Honda Motors came with another upgraded version of Honda Civic which became widely popular in India. This car populated Indian roads very fast and in 2008 Honda Civic became most popular model of Honda Motors in India.
The model Honda Civic has got very attractive specification for Indian roads with 1799 CC petrol engine with five manual gears, white alloy wheels and features like rear seat armrest, audio control and cup holder makes it more comfortable than the older model of 2006. It gives the mileage of 5.5 KM/L. Honda Motors also came up with hybrid model of Honda Civic which was known as "green car" this hybrid car was priced around 21 lakh which later on Honda Motors decided to decrease and made it around 13 lakh, this eco friendly car had made lot of auto lovers interested, with the car being imported and the reason of heavy import duty which made customers shy away from this model but later on Honda Motors decrease the rate and the offer was for limited period.

Honda Civic SPORT:- This sports model comes with 1799CC engine with 132 power BHP petrol engine having five manual gears. Safety feature like (ABS) Anti Braking System and two airbags makes the car safer. High-tech features like climate controller for AC, Power steering, Central remote locking, Rear defogger, Fog lamps, Rear centre armrest makes it comfortable. The performance of 206 top speed and 20 to 80 KPH, 40 to 100 KPH on third gear and forth gear respectively. It gives the mileage of 9.4 KM per liter on city and 13.5 KM per liter on highway.
Honda Civic 1.8 E MT:- 1.8 E MT model has got the same engine displacement as like Civic SPORT performance and safety fractures are also similar. It gives the mileage of 10 KM per liter on city and 12 KM per liter on highway. There are only some additional features like Split and folding rear seats, Cassette, CD, MP3 player, Rear AC vents and Rear wash wipe.
This model cost 13. 87 lakh in Delhi, 14.36 lakh in Mumbai, 13.39 lakh in Kolkata, 14.82 lakh in Chennai, 15.3 lakh in Bangalore.
Honda Civic 1.8 V MT:- Similar features like Engine displacement 1799CC, 5 Manual gears, Power 130/17.5, A/C, P/S, P/W, ABS2, Airbags, With ABS , 2 Airbags. This petrol engine car gives the top speed of 206. 20 to 80 KPH in 12.3 sec on third gear and 40 to 100 KPH in 16.37 sec on forth gear which gives the mileage of 9.4 KM per liter on city and 13.5 KM per liter on highway.
This model cost 14.86 lakh in Delhi, 15.38 lakh in Mumbai, 14.29 lakh in Kolkata, 15.85 lakh in Chennai, 16.38 lakh in Bangalore.

Honda Motors at Detroit motor show displayed the new version of Civic this is a CR-Z hybrid version of as R type model in Europe the company will launch this car by second quarter of 2011 in North American market there is also a hope of a low CO2 emission car model of Honda Civic by 2012.
